Nokia has launched its first touch-screen phone which is set to be a real contender to Apple's iPhone, the Nokia 5800 Xpress Music. It has a 3.2inch touch screen that can be manipulated by fingertip, stylus and a now a plectrum.
The expandable 8GB memory can hold up to 6000 tracks and unlike the iPhone is has a standard video camera that can take up to 90 minutes of footage.

The Nokia also takes better images, packing a 3.2megapixels camera with dual flash compared to the iPhones 2megapixel camera without flash.
As well as this the 5800 has a handwriting feature, which in theory recognises your writing and saves you typing a quick text message.
It includes all the features you would expect on a smart phone including bluetooth, GPS, WiFi and radio.

Weighing in at 109g, the phone has a media bar giving easy access to music, images, video and web access. However, the iPhone has a bigger 3.5inch touchscreen and benefits from Apple's much-loved iTunes store.
