Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho has revealed he believes Liverpool can claim Premier League glory this season.
Writing in his column in the Sunday Telegraph, the former Chelsea manager admitted the Reds have all the components required to take the title.
“It has been interesting watching Liverpool this season,” wrote the Portuguese, “I think they have everything they need to win the title.”Having led for most of the season, the Reds currently lie second in the table level on points with Manchester United who possess superior goal difference and a game in hand.
However, Mourinho insists Liverpool can overtake the Red Devils and expressed surprise that they hadn’t claim the title in recent seasons.
“I still can't understand why they didn't do it in the last four years. Why wouldn't they be able to do it this season? Of course they can,” he insisted, “The manager is good, the players are good, the crowd is unique, the tradition of the club is big, so why can't they do it? I think they can.”
