Frank Lampard believes Chelsea are clicking into top gear ahead of their Champions League quarter-final first leg against Liverpool at Anfield. The Blues won their third Premier League away game on the trot on Saturday when they beat Newcastle 2-0 at St James' Park. And although Lampard knows it will not be easy against Liverpool in European competition, he is confident the Chelsea squad will be prepared for the task. "Against Newcastle it was a confident display," he explained. "We had a few players injured at the weekend and hopefully they can be fit for midweek, but our squad is pretty strong at the minute. "We know how tough Liverpool is going to be - it is going to be a very tight game, both legs, and we are ready. We are in the right mood for it."
