Footballers at struggling Championship side Southampton have been ordered to give up sex and “live like monks” until they are safe from relegation.
Saints manager Mark Wotte, 48, suggests players behave by sleeping in their KITCHENS - away from wives or girlfriends.
He even recommends sending partners on holiday for two weeks so the aces are not tempted to get their leg over as they focus on a run of five games.
The new regime seems to be working after Southampton — third from bottom — beat high-flying Cardiff City at home on Saturday.
Dutchman Wotte said: “The players have to live like monks. They must focus only on football.”
