Liverpool assistant manager Sammy Lee has signed a new contract with the Anfield club, just a week after manager Rafa Benitez committed his long-term future to the Reds. First-team coach Mauricio Pellegrino, goalkeeping coach Xavi Valero and fitness coach Paco de Miguel have also extended their current deals for at least two years.Lee has been assistant manager since May 2008 and his role was a key discussion in Benitez's own contract negotiations.
