Liverpool put in one of their best performances in months as they smashed Real Madrid 4-0 at Anfield this evening. Fernando Torres opened the scoring with his 10th goal of the season. It was his first European goal of this campaign. Steven Gerrard marked his 100th European game for the club with a brace. The first came from the spot and he then slotted the ball home following a good cross by Ryan Babel. Andrea Dossena rounded off the scoring with his first ever Liverpool goal late on in the game.
