Aston Martin V12 Vantage

The Aston Martin V12 Vantage will make its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month.

The V12 Vantage features the 510bhp/420 lb ft 6.0-litre engine as used in the DB9 and DBS - not the 600bhp racing engine as in the prototype - and is good for 190mph and 0-60mph in 4.2 seconds. Aston CEO Dr Ulrich Bez says 'this is the ultimate performance interpretation of the Vantage range, combining our most agile model with our most powerful engine. It represents the definitive driving package, providing spectacular performance to ensure a dynamically thrilling and everyday usable driving experience.'

Many of its components - including cooling aids and aerodynamic enhancements - have been sourced from Aston's racing cars, but road-going comfort is assured.

Aston Martin plans to make 300-500 Vantage V12s a year, and will confirm pricing at the Geneva show.
