Manchester Airport are preparing to send a £20,000 bill Cristiano Ronaldo's way for damage sustained during the tricky winger's collision with the airport tunnel's wall on January 8, according to The Daily Mirror.
Ronaldo was on his way to training when the incident occurred. He had to be picked up by team-mate Edwin van der Sar, who was travelling behind.
Ronaldo's car was written-off on impact but the player escaped unhurt. The repair bill being sent his way may injury his wallet somewhat because Manchester Airport’s authorities are reportedly fuming over the damage sustained.
It will take Ronaldo less than a day to earn the money that the airport are after.
