Liverpool were put on alert today as reported target Raul Albiol claimed that if he was to leave his beloved Valencia then a move to the Premier League would be of interest to him.
The talented defender who looks set to join Silva and Villa as one of the high profile sacrifices made by the Spanish club as they attempt to remove a large part of the reported £430m debt, has been attracting the interest of Arsenal and Liverpool with the Reds in particular, according to reports in Spain, have had him watched in the past few months. Valencia's Sporting Director Fernando Gomez has been quick to confirm of interest in Albiol from England, however confirm that no formal offers have been made.
