The latest FIFA Women's Rankings have seen the USA hold on to a clear points lead at the top, with Germany out of the top two for the first time since 2003, their place taken by Brazil, who have reached their highest ever position.
Sweden stay fourth, despite their Algarve Cup success, with Denmark up one to sixth, Japan up two to a best ever seventh, while Norway slide three to ninth.
England's Cyrpus Cup success may not have improved their standing but their points tally in tenth has seen them close the gap on the three nations directly above them.
There is no change for Scotland (25th), Republic of Ireland (27th) or Wales (49th) but Northern Ireland moved up four to 71st.
Also on the up are four nations with record highs; South Korea (21st), India (50th), South Africa (54) and Turkey (59th).
