England's Three Lions crest given a makeover

England's players will walk out against Slovakia later this month with a new version of the Three Lions crest on their shirts.

The new lighter-blue crest has the three lions and the Tudor roses re-drawn to stand out more. Jonathan Hill, the Football Association's group commercial director, said: 'The new designs have been modernised for today's digital world, while also ensuring they reflect the rich heritage and traditions of the crest.'

The new crest will be worn by England players for the first time on March 28 at Wembley against Slovakia.
