Singer in a Brit of trouble as court case looms

Britney Spears’ ex-manager Osama 'Sam' Lufti is taking the singer and her family to court for breach of contract, bodily harm and slander.

Lufti alleges that pop superstar Britney lived in fear of her father, and that he met the singer when she was trying to file a restraining order on her parents, reported tmz.com.

Spears' ex-manager said of the star : "Resentful of Lynne and afraid of Jamie's controlling, violent, and often unpredictable behavior, Britney began inquiring about obtaining restraining orders against Jamie and Lynne."

Sam says that Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, phyisically assaulted him in Britney’s apartment in 2008 and "intentionally punched him in the chest”.

Britney’s mother is also being sued by Sam. He said due to the slanderous words she wrote in her recent book 'Through the Storm', he was “subjected to unfathomable amounts of ridicule and public scorn."

The singer's ex-manager also claims that Britney owes him unpaid management fees.
