Liverpool, Wigan, Newcastle and Tottenham deadline news

Sunday Mirror reports today that Newcastle and Wigan have agreed to a move for French winger Charles N'Zogbia. Wigan will be a new transfer record fee for the player.

N'Zogbia (22) has been linked with Arsenal and Aston Villa, but now it looks as if Wigan and Steve Bruce has won the race for the former Le Havre player.

Liverpool and Tottenham could be close to a deal for Robbie Keane. The Eire international is not included in Liverpool's squad for todays game against Chelsea.

Tottenham are wiling to pay £15 million, but Benitez and Liverpool wants £20 million which was what they bought him for in the summer.

Liverpool did what it took to sign Keane, and was reported to the FA for unsettling the player. Keane is known as a huge Liverpool fan and a chance to join the Anfield club was too much to turn down.

With the current sale of Darren Bent to Sunderland it looks as a certainty that Keane will return to Tottenham before the transfer window close.
