Partial total eclipse
A partial solar eclipse will be visible this evening over Brunei Darussalam. The solar eclipse will pass across the Indian Ocean and West of Indonesia. The whole eclipse will take place over three hours and 46mins.According to local news report the partial eclipse is expected to take place from 4.42pm until sunset. The eclipse will be visible in Brunei for one hour and 47mins. It will be monitored at Bukit Shahbandar as well as the Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation Complex car park from 4pm.The public are advised to use of a filter to view the eclipse as viewing it without protection may affect one's vision and even cause blindness.
